Eligibility

There are three basic areas I will be looking for to determine checkride eligibility and ensure FAA qualifications have been satisfied:  

1. Applicant eligibility                     

2. Aircraft eligibility                        

3.Conditions conducive to testing

These requirements are specified in various locations throughout the CFRs, ACs, ACS, and Orders 8900 and 8000.95. However, finding all of these requirements and ensuring proper qualifications can be a very daunting task. To help you ensure that you are properly qualified for an airmen certification evaluation (checkride) I have assembled a checklist that will cover all of the items required. This is the checklist that I will be using to determine qualifications have been met so please look it over carefully and ensure that every item has been satisfactorily completed.
